Services Provided by the Mission
Servicing on an average of 700 men, women and children per month with a balance diet to supplement their grocery needs. They also receive personal care items and household cleaning materials. They are able to come once during every calendar month. Over 5800 men, women and children served in 2010.
Hot Lunch Program
From 100 to 180 individuals gather at the mission 4 days each week, to fellowship and avail themselves to a nutritious hot lunch. For many this will be their only meal for the day. They are from all walks of life. The homeless, the hungry, the lonely, street people, drug addicts and on and on. A meal is also provided after the Sunday Worship Service. Over 20,000 lunches were provided to the people that came to the mission so far this year (2015.)
Clothing for all, plus household items, appliances and furniture. Located at the house just West of the Mission.
Over 1200 infants are provided diapers, formula and clothing each year. We provide diapers, formula, clothing, blankets, strollers and other needs. This is an amazing and wonderful ministry. So many of the moms are single and are children themselves. Located in the building just West of the Mission in a room in the Clothing House. This is a free service and the parents are allowed to obtain items twice a month. In emergency situations no one is turned away.
Dr. Chris Hall, our Optometrist, generally comes twice a month.
We provide a service where we can direct individuals to agencies when we are not able to help them. This also includes brochures, pamphlets, and flyers dealing with various needs.
Our main function is always the spiritual needs of our people. Pastor Bob Cattane is available during Mission hours.
